If you like to have a beer occasionally, leave your cash at home if you are going to do your consuming in a casino. I am serious. Leave your evening bag, your money belt, and keep all money, plastic credit and checks back at the hotel. Only take whatever cash you expect to spend on drinks, tipping and few dollars you expect to lose and leave the remainder behind.
Pessimistic? Not really. Realistic more like. You can have a win following a drunken night out with your compatriots and be lucky enough to hit a 25 minute roll at a smokin craps game. Hang on to that adventure because it is as short-lived as it gets if you regularly drink and gamble. These activities simply don’t go well together.
Leaving your moola at home is a little bit drastic, but defensive actions for excessive actions is compulsory. If you gamble to succeed, then do not drink alcohol and play. If you like to throw aside your cash nary a concern, then consume all the free alcohol you can handle, but do not pack plastic credit and cheques to toss into the mix of chasing squanderings after your bombed brain throws away every little thing!
Allow me to carry this a single step further. Don’t consume alcohol and then hop on the net to bet in your favorite internet casino either. I enjoy a beer from the coziness of my condominium, however considering that I’m linked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep credit cards near by, I can’t consume alcohol and wager.
What’s the reason? Despite the fact that I don’t consume alcohol a lot, once I drink alcohol, it is clearly adequate to blur my better judgment. I bet, so I don’t drink when gambling. If you are a drinker, don’t gamble at the same time. When mixed, both create a dangerous, and expensive, cocktail.
