If you like to have a beer ever so often, keep your cash out of the casino if you set out to do your drinking in a casino. I’m serious. Empty your handbag, your wallet, and keep all cash, credit cards and chequebooks out of the casino. Pack only the money you expect to spend on beverages, tips and whatever pocket change you intend to lose and leave the remainder behind.
Pessimistic? Not really. Just realistic. You may well experience a profit following a drunken evening out with your friends and be lucky sufficiently to hook a long toss at a hot craps table. Keep that account because it is as short-lived as it gets if you continually drink and wager. These activities just don’t go well together.
Leaving your moolah out of the casino is a bit excessive, but precautionary actions for excessive actions is a requirement. If you gamble to profit, then do not drink alcohol and bet. If you can afford to burn your assets nary a concern, then consume all the gratuitous booze you can handle, but do not pack plastic credit and checkbooks to toss into the mix of going after losses after your befuddled self squanders everything!
Allow me to take this 1 step further. Don’t consume alcohol and then go on the internet to bet in your preferred casino either. I enjoy a drink from the comfort of my condominium, however due to the fact that I am connected through Neteller, Firepay and keep credit cards in close proximity, I can not drink and bet.
Why? Although I don’t consume alcohol a lot, once I consume alcohol, it is clearly enough to befuddle my better judgment. I wager, so I do not drink when gambling. If you are more of a drinker, do not gamble when you do. Both create an awful, and costly, drink.
